Trinium

The Trinium Foundation

The Trinium Foundation is an organization born with the aim of improving the quality of life for the most vulnerable, promoting sustainable development and social inclusion. We operate in various sectors, focusing on health, food security, economic development, and community empowerment. Our approach is aimed at creating lasting change, ensuring that communities can achieve self-sufficiency and a better future.

Our Mission

Our mission is based on three fundamental pillars:

  1. Health and Well-being: We provide access to basic medical care and prevention programs in remote and disadvantaged areas, ensuring the universal right to health.
  2. Sustainable Development: We promote innovative and sustainable agricultural practices, providing local communities with the resources and knowledge necessary to ensure food security.
  3. Social Inclusion: We support the empowerment of the most marginalized people through education programs, vocational training, and economic development to promote greater social equity.

The Role of the Trinium Foundation in the EL BARRIO Project

Within the EL BARRIO-RDC LLP Project, the Trinium Foundation plays a key role in ensuring that mining and development activities are conducted in a sustainable and responsible manner. The EL BARRIO project focuses on the development of the extractive sector in the Lomami province, Democratic Republic of Congo, combining technological innovation with environmental respect.

The Trinium Foundation is committed to:

  • Monitoring social conditions in mining areas, ensuring that local communities benefit from the economic activities generated by the project.
  • Promoting environmental sustainability by introducing mining practices that respect the local ecosystem, such as less invasive techniques and the use of innovative technologies.
  • Supporting economic inclusion by creating job opportunities for local communities through training and technical support, and facilitating dialogue between mining cooperatives and government institutions.
Through our participation in the Consortium EL BARRIO-RDC LLP, we work to ensure that natural resources are exploited ethically, while also generating tangible and lasting benefits for people and the environment.
